Mileage Upgrades from Economy Class on THAI are more flexible and even save miles, depending on your purchased fare.

Upgrades from Economy Class booked as Y/B/M are reduced by 20% with upgrading automatically to Royal Silk Class.

For other discounted Economy Class fares, excluding V/W which will no longer be eligible for upgrading, miles required remains unchanged for upgrading from Economy Class to Royal Silk Class.

New upgrades are also available from Economy Class to Premium Economy Class on applicable flights.

The new more flexible Mileage Upgrades can be requested at anytime after your paid ticket has been issued, but not less than 24 hours prior to scheduled departure.
